●About the Series

Where coursework becomes scholarship

Institutional Student SeriesC.A.S.E. - the Class Assignment Series · Edition - is a bi-monthly student-edition scholarly series published by the Centre for Fintech and Strategic Business Research.

Every semester, exceptional undergraduate assignments are written, graded, and forgotten. C.A.S.E. exists so that the best of them are not. The series captures end-of-semester work across fintech, strategy, analytics, and applied business research - and gives it a permanent, citable home.

Every accepted piece is reviewed by a faculty-led editorial board, paired with an ORCID iD, registered with a permanent Crossref DOI under prefix 10.67226, and hosted open access on PubPub under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Students leave each issue with a citable artifact for a CV, a graduate application, or a personal site.

●Scope of the Series

What we publish

C.A.S.E. publishes high-quality undergraduate coursework that is evidence-driven, clearly structured, and useful beyond the classroom - across the full CFSBR remit.

40% Fintech and Digital Finance · 30% Strategy and Market Reports · 30% Analytics and Sustainable Finance

  1. 01
    FinTech and Digital Financial Services

Digital payments, MFS adoption and consumer perception surveys, agent banking dynamics, financial inclusion case studies, and modern digital banking infrastructure in Bangladesh.

  2. 02
    Strategy and Market Reports

Industry competitive structure (Porter’s 5 Forces / PESTLE), corporate strategic reviews, brand positioning audits, market entry models, and sector-specific business briefs.

  3. 03
    Business Analytics and Decision Intelligence

Survey-based empirical assignments, consumer data interpretation, econometric regression outputs, and data-backed managerial recommendations (Excel/SPSS/R/Python).

  4. 04
    Sustainable Finance and ESG

Climate finance, development economics, impact measurement, and responsible financial systems.

  5. 05
    Applied Research and Policy Notes

Structured assignment outputs combining business logic, methods, and recommendations for real stakeholders.

●Cross-Disciplinary Inclusivity

Bridging Business, Economics, and Computational Engineering.

While anchored in business and finance, C.A.S.E. actively invites submissions from non-business disciplines - particularly Computer Science (CSE), Software Engineering, Data Science, Economics, and Applied Statistics.

We specifically solicit undergraduate technical and systems-level coursework where computation directly intersects with applied financial systems, enterprise strategy, fraud detection algorithms, algorithmic market intelligence, or consumer data models.

Note: Purely theoretical technical work without an economic, financial, or business application lies outside the current editorial remit.

01

Zero-Tolerance Plagiarism and AI Disclosure

Maximum 15% similarity index on Turnitin (excluding references). Generative AI usage (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) must be transparently disclosed; AI cannot be listed as an author, and core critical insights must be human-authored.

02

Mandatory Supervisor Authorization

Submissions must carry explicit consent from the course instructor or faculty advisor who supervised or graded the assignment.

03

Corporate Confidentiality

Use of non-public company data or internal corporate records requires explicit institutional authorization or complete anonymization/proxy masking.

●How it works

The C.A.S.E. workflow

Editorial clarity, centralised ingestion. The series owns its branding and hosting; CFSBR runs the metadata pipeline and Crossref deposit.

  1. 01
    Step One
    Faculty-Led Editorial Screening

A faculty advisor performs peer-style screening — originality, methodology, ethics, and supervisor sign-off. CFSBR performs a second-pass editorial audit with version-controlled approvals on the record.

  2. 02
    Step Two
    Frontend Deployment

The issue landing page goes live on the C.A.S.E. front-end before archive release.

  3. 03
    Step Three
    Metadata Collection

Title, authors, ORCID, abstract, and references are packaged for ingestion.

  4. 04
    Step Four
    Central Audit

CFSBR validates metadata, runs the deposit build, and queues for Crossref.

  5. 05
    Step Five
    DOI Activation

A permanent DOI is registered and resolves to the PubPub archive record.

●Policy Library

Four governing policies every submission follows

01

License and Copyright

Authors retain 100% copyright under Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0. CFSBR holds a non-exclusive license to archive the manuscript and mint a permanent Crossref DOI on the author’s behalf.

02

Editorial Screening

Two-pass screening: faculty advisor review for academic merit, originality, and ethics; CFSBR central audit for Crossref-grade metadata. No anonymous gatekeeping — every approval is signed.

03

Research Ethics

Maximum 15% Turnitin similarity (excluding references). Generative AI use must be disclosed transparently; AI cannot be listed as an author. Non-public corporate data requires explicit institutional authorisation.
